Faculty Development Day offers a unique opportunity for faculty to learn from and be inspired by one another by sharing expertise, experiences, and best practices in our classrooms. The morning will feature a variety of faculty-led, interactive peer discussions and presentations, followed by a delicious lunch and an outdoor reflective activity. Connect with colleagues, spark new ideas, and gain fresh perspectives before the busy semester begins.

Budgeted funding will be available to reimburse mileage for those traveling from remote campuses. Carpooling is encouraged to maximize resources and reduce environmental impact.

In kindness,

Katie Burles on behalf of the Planning Committee and Sessions Leads including, Lauren Anstey, Kelly Fyke, Becky Pelkonen, Gillian Spring, Daniel Wiens, Jani Vogell, Mike Vallee, Sheldon Dwyer, and Caley Ehnes.

CORFA members—full-time and part-time regular as well as term and auxiliary non-regular faculty—have eligibility to engage in Professional Development and purchase resources.

In order to learn the available amounts for your planning, review reports of others’ activities for inspiration, and, most importantly, find the process and forms necessary for application, please consult the COTROnline Faculty Development website. (click link)
